About Stroke in the Young

Hi everyone, I’m Martin. In 2022, I went for a run and came back a stroke survivor. A carotid artery dissection led to a massive stroke that took my speech and my right hand’s mobility. Since then, my "full-time job" has shifted from being a Director of Sales in the tech world to reclaiming my life through rehab.

I’m a father of two, a husband, and someone who has called both the U.S. and Israel home. I’m also part of a group often overlooked: Stroke in the Young. 

I created this space to offer encouragement and practical insights. From new treatments to the mental hurdles of recovery, I’ll be sharing everything that helps me get better every day.

I’m not a doctor—just a person who has faced these challenges head-on and wants to help you do the same.
